Teen Turning Point

Teens Turning Point is a place where teens have decided to make the right turn and address the issues that pressures them to make poor choices. It is a place where you can understand life controlling issues, how they develop, and the impact they have on individuals and their families. It is a place where they can just be themselves and realize how teens are having some of the same problems they are having. It is a place where they can feel safe in sharing some of the most intimate and private things in their lives. It is a place where they can be loved for who you are, and not be judged or condemned because of what they have become. It is a place where they can receive biblical truth about what is going on in your life, and how they can overcome the issues that hinder them from living a life of purpose and significance.

“Teens Turning Point” will reduce juvenile delinquency among teens through faith-based spiritual guidance, and mentoring sessions. In addition, we will identify troubled teens with drug abuse issues, behavior issues, and relationship issues of any gender, race, religious affiliation or economic background to see them delivered from their life hindering addiction or behavior issues.

Teens Boot Camps

Ages: 10-18

This program involves high intensity, military style discipline structure without a lot of screaming from big men while marching and exercising. This appeals to a lot of parents with troubled teens because they have done a lot of screaming at their teen and it doesn't seem to work.  At Teens Turning Point our approach is with love and compassion to get the teen to respond to the commands and reward them in the obedience to those commands.  This program will include spending time in the wilderness on our 9 acre open field.  This is an excellent place for camping and hiking.

Character Counts Curriculum:
"Making the Right Moves"

Using Scripture as its foundation, this character education manual covers topics such as substance abuse prevention, friendship, death, and sexual abstinence. It comes with over 200 pages of information, activities, skits, and reproducible hand-outs. Ideal for teens grades 7-12.

Teens Wilderness Programs

Ages: 10-18

Teens Turning Point will offer a wilderness program that operates from an actual facility. This would be similar to a clinic, but might have a more lived-in feel. The teens might be required to do chores around the establishment by cleaning, helping with lawn care or doing dishes and cooking. This is a program for troubled teens that take a different approach to teaching teens life skills including how to be respectful and how to be obedient. This program will include spending time in the wilderness on our 9 acre open field.  This is an excellent place for camping and hiking.

THE WORD OF GOD

God had given us resources to defeat Satan’s lies and schemes of delusion, secrecy, and isolation.  First, the Word of God confronts our delusion.  God’s word communicates God’s standard of righteousness, which is firm and unchanging.  Society may redefine what is normal, permissible, and legal, but God Word is the standard for what is right.
